Our Programs: Transforming the Lives of Tanzanian Gen Z

Elimika Wikiendi is leveraging digital technologies to connect young people and at-risk populations to information about their health and rights, helping them make informed decisions. Our aim is to improve the overall wellbeing of young people in Tanzania by
prioritizing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Gender-Based Violence, where access to accurate, youth-friendly nformation and services is critical.
Elimika Wikiendi focuses on equipping youth with the digital skills they need to navigate the digital ecosystem safely and responsibly. We encourage young people to use technology responsibly while combating digital harms, including those that disproportionately target girls and young women (Online and technology facilitated gender-based violence). Through capacity building, we nurture netizens who are resilient and capable of protecting themselves and others online.

Increasing youth participation in development agendas
Youth are central to creating inclusive societies and responsive governments. At Elimika Wikiendi, we work to ensure their voices are not only heard but meaningfully influence decision-making processes.

Through this program, we leverage technology to promote democracy and freedom of expression, particularly where civic space remains shrinking.
